Critics of Israel

Critics of Israel like to say that the Jews have taken away land at the expense of the Palestinian Arabs

Go back to the year 70 A.D. The Romans expelled the Jews from Palestine.

Whoever moved into the land formerly occupied by the Jews did so at the expense of the Jews.

Move forward. At the time that Israel was created by the United Nations in 1948, Palestine was governed by the British, who grabbed the land from the Turks after World War I. The Palestinian Arabs never had a nation there.

When Israel was created, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq tried to destroy Israel and grab the land for themselves. They failed. Eventually, Egypt and Jordan made peace with Israel.

Arafat grabbed the opportunity to become the ruler of the Palestinians by promising the destruction of Israel. He became a tyrant, stole hundreds of millions of dollars and of course failed to destroy Israel.

Now Abbas and Hamas preach the destruction of Israel. They also are failing.

What should the Palestinians Arabs do? Continue to try to destroy Israel?

You know what that's like? A puny, underfed mangy mouse shaking his fist at a lion and squeaking: "Me and my brothers and cousins will destroy you!"

Pathetic, isn't it?

So are the critics of Israel, equally pathetic, if not more so.
