What Do the Critics Expect of Israel?

As long as the leadership of the Palestinians is irrevocably committed in speech and in action to the destruction of Israel, what should Israel be expected to do except to strengthen its position and to protect itself to the best of its ability against suicide murderers, rocketeers and other criminals?
