Hillary Clinton

It is regrettable that a talented and effective candidate who happens to be a female stimulates so many people to irrational levels of rejection. The qualities that anger these rejectionists, had they been exhibited by a male, would have been accepted readily and perhaps even praised.

Personally, I am rooting for Hillary for the simple reason that, of all the announced candidates, she is the one most likely to be a great President.

I am also very pleased that Intrade, the betting website shows her to be the front-runner for the Democratic nomination and the Presidency in the general election. In fact for the Democratic nomination Hillary is the odds-on favorite, far ahead of Obama, in second place. All the other guys are "also-rans."
